Moving forward, every month there will be different acts for you to enjoy. What’s the criterion to be down with the HHS? It’s simple. You must be a "Heavy Hitter", meaning you have albums to your credit, radio play, write ups in magazines or newspapers, and most importantly, the people gotta know who you are. Faith Evans - Live @ The Quest Night Club - August 2, 2005. : Faith Evans has an awesome voice, killer legs and she aint afraid to sweat while she's giving you her all. (It was hotter than hell inside The Quest). Chica is on her grind and just like Sean "Puffy" Combs, she can't be stopped. Also coming thru with hella flava, were the likes of the Twin Cities own Desdamona "The Princess of Poetry" and The New Congress, flippin' the whole R&B and hip-hop thang upside down and back around, like whoa! Pretty Ricky's What They Call Em' : "Baby grind with me. Relax your mind take your time with me. I love you deeper if you cry for me. Now come and kiss me till yo body gets weak Just grind with me baby . . ." One thing is for sure - The Miami based R&B/Rap group Pretty Ricky knows how to keep the girls screaming! Maybe that's why their hit single "Grind With Me" is topping the charts these days. It may also be the reason why they're expected to go on tour with teen heart-throbs such as Bow Wow, Omarion, B5, Marques Houston and Bobby Valentino. I had the opportunity to hang out with these "young bucks" and the experience was much more entertaining than I had anticipated. These dudes have a whole heap of personality. The jokes were flying left and right. If you're expecting these cats to be "one hit wonders", you may want to re-think that. These guys are focused and ready to roll. A word of advice from your guy Slick 'Em - " Ladies, don't fall asleep listening to our album, cuz you WILL wake up pregnant."
